As our days pass, let us remember
to celebrate the joys and goodness of this earthly life. How easy it is to
become so encumbered by our jobs, our obligations, these are weights we carry
with us every day. And of course the stress of our responsibilities is valid...
But stop.
Watch over us dear lord as our
days increase, keeping us unspotted from the world. Strengthen us when we
stand, comfort us when discouraged or sorrowful, raise us up if we fall.
And in our hearts may that peace which passes all understanding abide us all
the days of our lives. Amen.
